Description: Students in Greece had to wear uniforms up to 1981. The uniforms were in dark or light blue colour. The most outstanding feature was the white collar which had to be totally white and neat and it was a proof of cleanliness and responsibility. Young boys wore them throughout kindergarten and primary school years while the girls had to wear them until they finished secondary education. The digital items concern female uniforms in blue colours and kindergarten uniforms for boys and girls.
