A play with proverbs
The team decided to work on the Mill of Matsopoulos which one used to be a watermill. In the past, watermills were important for the broader area because they were closely connected to people's survival; the social life developed around the mills was rich as every kind of people passed by and a lot of information was circulated around. A great number of proverbs, traditions and fairy-tales have been created throughout the years.
The play with proverbs made our students familiar with "folk people's wisdom" and they traced the social aspects of life in watermills in the past.
