Virtual Mobility in Trikala, Greece: Mens Sana in Corpore Sano (March 22nd-26th 2021)

Last virtual mobility was organized by Greek team using Zoom platform. It started on Monday 22nd and ended on Friday 26th of March lasting for five days. We agreed to have four hours of activities daily because we thought it was demanding for students. On the first day participants were welcomed by Greek students, teachers and school coordinator Ms. Eleni Avdelidou. It was especially nice to meet students who were part of the project since the beginning, because due to the extension caused by COVID 19 many of them left the partner’s schools to continue their upper education. Project manager Tamara Perkovic presented the project and reminded the participants of all the activities that were conducted on prior physical mobilities in Spain, Croatia, Portugal and Finland. She especially highlighted five main topics that resulted in outputs such as Eurodance created from traditional dances, Traditional Games Brochure with 15 games played in partners countries, hymn of our project based on Cante Alentejano but on six languages and Eurotale that introduced us to storytelling. Main topic of Greek mobility was Mediterranean Diet and Greek culture that gave foundations to modern European culture. With the help of digital tools, especially quizzes students learned about Odyssey and Greek alphabet. In the following days all the partners schools and towns were once again introduced by students with the videos and presentations that they made themselves. We also showed all the videos made about prior physical meetings. Main activity of the week were cooking lessons with typical Greek food. New European cookbook was issued online containing 45 dishes of five countries.
